I was sexually assaulted and abused multiple times as child. Several times I almost lost my life.
I was threatened not to tell about the abuse. These threats included I will kill your family, God wants me to do this, I am doing this because you are bad.
I have had major physical and psychological problems from this abuse.
Despite good medical care and counseling, I fight every day to feel good about myself and find a reason to keep going.
There was no legal consequences for the person who abused me despite reporting to church leaders.
